Meet Terry Black

Terry Black is a licensed home inspector (TREC#1593).  He has been in the inspection business for 23 years.  In addition, he has over 15 years experience as a Sub-Contractor and Builder/General Contractor.   

We maintain our high level of service by keeping abreast of changes and/or updates in the codes and standards of  the industry.  We do this by attending many seminars; lectures; annual training; and classroom sessions. 

• Terry has attended the Texas A&M University System; Texas Engineering Extension Service Engineering, Utilities and Public Works Training Institute; University of Houston; Houston Community College; Spencer School of Real Estate; and the Gulf Coast School of Real Estate.  In addition, he attends continuing education. 

• Terry is also a certified mediator. 

• Terry is a past member of TAREI (Texas Association of Real Estate Inspectors)

• Terry is a past member of SBCCI (Southern Building Code Congress International)

• Terry is past a member of the Houston Home Builders Association Inspector Council

• Terry is a member member of the ICC (International Code Council)

• Terry is a Certified ICC Residential Building Inspector.
