Meet Terry Black

Terry Black is a licensed home inspector (TREC#1593).  He has been in the inspection business for approximately 16 years.  In addition, he has over 15 years experience as a Sub-Contractor and Builder/General Contractor.   

We maintain our high level of service by keeping abreast of changes and/or updates in the codes and standards of  the industry.  We do this by attending many seminars; lectures; annual training; and classroom sessions. 

• Terry has attended the Texas A&M University System; Texas Engineering Extension Service Engineering, Utilities and Public Works Training Institute; University of Houston; Houston Community College; Spencer School of Real Estate; and the Gulf Coast School of Real Estate.  In addition, he attends continuing education. 

• Terry is also a certified mediator. 

• Terry is a past member of TAREI (Texas Association of Real Estate Inspectors)

• Terry is a past of SBCCI (Southern Building Code Congress International)

• Terry is past a member of the Houston Home Builders Association Inspector Council

• Terry is a member member of the ICC (International Code Council)

• Terry is a Certified ICC Residential Building Inspector.

The home inspection business inherently brings with it a level of ethical codes and conduct that easily meets those of other professions.  For that reason, the Texas Real Estate Commission maintains stringent guidelines as outlined in the State Standards of Practice.  Our allegiance is to our customers.  We enjoy a  90% client referral business.  This is only accomplished by providing in-depth, impartial and professional services that exceed customer expectations.  And in so doing, we are protecting all of the parties involved in the transaction.
