Limited Visual Inspection: 
 Stairs & Landings:
   
stair winding not 6.jpg (20963 bytes) These stairs are not built to any type of building standard or code. The stairs are dangerous to negotiate home was built in 1998 and is inside the city limits of Houston. Meaning the city inspector let it pass.
   
rungs on railings.jpg (12669 bytes) The rungs on this rail exceeds four (4") inches. A small child could get there head caught in the rails or a worse case scenario fall through the rungs.

This is one of the rungs on a had rail in a new home. It was not nailed in place and numerous others were loose.
