This furnace has a bad heat exchanger, most of the heat exchanger is in the bottom the bottom of the unit in the form of rust.

 

   
cracked heat exchanger.jpg (23415 bytes) This heat exchanger is cracked.
   
gas branch line.jpg (23910 bytes) This is a gas branch line installed inside the furnace cabinet. According to the manufacture the gas branch cannot be connected inside the furnace cabinet. The furnace needs to be hard piped outside the furnace cabinet and then the branch line connected to the hard pipe. These branch lines are very thin and vibration could easily rub a hole in the line where it penetrates the furnace cabinet. 
   
flame spillage.jpg (27805 bytes) This furnace has flame spillage up the side of the unit.
   
copper gas line.jpg (25764 bytes) This is a copper gas branch line on a furnace. Copper tubing and/or pipe is not an acceptable gas branch line. Gas branch lines must be UL approved.
   
det coil.jpg (31692 bytes) The coil cabinet on this A/C unit is deteriorating. 
   
dirty coil.jpg (35519 bytes) This is a coil inside an A/C coil cabinet it is fifty (50%) percent blocked by dirt.
   
wet sec pan.jpg (25434 bytes) This is water and rust from the A/C coil in the secondary emergency drain pan.
